Park Rules
Use or possession of alcohol is prohibited and will be strictly enforced (TABC 101.75).
Use or possession of tobacco products, including vaping materials, outside of the designated smoking area, is prohibited and will be strictly enforced (TPC 48.01).
No outside food or drinks are allowed inside the Park and/or HS Fields. This does not apply to individual water jugs for players and coaches. Additionally, each team is allowed to bring 1 designated team cooler. This rule may be waived during extreme heat conditions, as designated by the ISD Field Director.
Pets are NOT allowed inside the Park or HS Fields.
Sunflower seeds are NOT allowed inside the Park or HS Fields.
Metal cleats are NOT allowed inside the Park or HS Fields.
Noisemakers are NOT allowed inside the Park or HS Fields.
Skateboards, roller blades, bicycles & scooters are NOT allowed inside the Park or HS Fields.
No equipment may be staked into the grounds of the rental location.
Fields may be used for minor warm-up activities prior to games. This is limited to stretching, running, fielding, and throwing.
Any type of batting practice, i.e. soft toss, the use of hitting nets, weighted training balls, or any other activity deemed harmful to the ball field turf by ISD staff is not allowed on the turf.
Hitting into fences is not allowed, whether on or off the field.
Abusive or profane language towards players, park/tournament staff, umpires, coaches or spectators will not be tolerated.
Overnight parking of RV’s or travel trailers is allowed on tournament days and the night before the start of the tournament only. RV parking is not allowed in the main parking lot but is allowed in the overflow lot across the street. RV parking is not allowed in the high school fields parking lot.
Park patrons are responsible for picking up their trash. This also pertains to teams cleaning up their dugouts.
Players, coaches and spectators are prohibited from making any modifications to playing fields. This includes removing or re-setting pitching mounds or rubbers, moving bases, etc.
Parents are responsible for the actions of their children.
Any defacement or mistreatment of ISD property will not be tolerated.
Only individuals authorized by the ISD may access the park during non-playing or “off” hours.
Only approved vehicles may be driven into the complex, and only during times approved by the ISD staff.
